Job description

Are you interested in food security and climate change? Do you want to help inspire secondary school students? Then we need you!

We are a new social enterprise, in the start-up phase, looking for Communications specialist to help raise the profile of the organisation. We seek to educate young people and inspire them to act on and tackle global challenges. We are looking to set up a series of active workshops to teach secondary school students about the risks to food and food security posed by climate change through the medium of edible gardens.

Role description

  • Develop a Communications strategy for the organisation to raise our profile, both through online platforms and strategic stakeholder engagement
  • Manage social media platforms including writing and producing content, social media updates, and project information materials, in liaison with the team. 
  • Assist with website content and development

Experience (preferred)

  • Demonstrated communication, drafting and copy-editing experience 
  • Knowledge of web design and maintenance 
  • Knowledge of graphic design, online communication, social media and video production; 
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills as well as strong strategic and creative thinking; 

Location: We are based in London. Remote and flexible working possible.

Time commitment: Approximately 4 hrs/week

About Nourish Our World
