A great opportunity to join our bread crew, this junior position would suit someone who has studied baking in college or worked in a bakery for a year or two. Eager home sourdough bakers who are looking to make a career out of a passion are also welcome to apply. You need to be prepared to step into a professional environment and really scale up your production quickly!
We pride ourselves in the care, knowledge and attention to detail we employ in producing our bakery range. We are looking for someone with an equal passion for fermentation, a desire to continue learning every day, the ability to share their knowledge, ideas and creativity and to be self-motivated to improve.
You will be:
This role is a physical one, with lots of lifting and carrying. You will be on your feet for your 8.5 hour shift (with a break for lunch of course)
Regular shifts start between 4-7am each day, we are open 7 days a week so working days can include part and full weekends.
Choose between a 4 day (34 hour) contract or 5 day (42) hour salaried contract. Starting rate £9.65+ per hour based on experience.

We are a sourdough bakery, patisserie and cafe in the heart of Sheffield Antiques Quarter. Our bakers, chefs and baristas make everything from scratch – meaning we know exactly what’s in it. No improvers, no additives. From small bakery, to bigger premises, to opening a cafe – our story has been one of growth. We are a team of 30 serving all day brunch, running monthly evening events, teaching classes and popping up at markets and weekly at Sheffield Train Station.
