Job description
We are looking for somebody to join our team at Meadows min. 3 days per week to include Saturday. Previous experience in a customer facing position in retail or hospitality is an advantage but an interest in learning about sustainable food as well as a desire to share that interest with customers is the most important criteria for the job. We are a small shop but we are linked to a whole world of food through our suppliers and produce. Everything we sell has a story to tell so there is lots to learn and a whole range of food related topics to investigate on the job.
This role will inculde shopkeeping, food preparation and occasionally helping off site with events or tastings. There is some retail related admin involved in receiving deliveries and checking in stock. There is an opportunity to take on more responsibility in the future however there is not any pressure to do so should this job be something that you would like to fit in amongst other commitments.
