Job description

The Market Garden at Bore Place is 6½ acres (all outdoors) and supplies box schemes around Brighton and London as well as some wholefood shops. We grow a wide range of vegetables and do most of the propagating ourselves. During the season you will see and experience sowing, planting crop maintenance and harvesting. I am looking for someone with experience in market gardening for the period May – October.

I need help with harvesting until the end of October for 3 days a week (Friday, Saturday and Monday with the possibility to stay over during these days). Harvest produce to order, be precise and aware of the quality required. Work sensibly and with good speed.

DBS check and self employed.

The right person will be able to start immediately. Trial period of 3 weeks.

About Bore Place Market Garden

The work is paid and our working week is on average 40 h a week.
