Job description

Opportunity for candidate with good professional kitchen experience. Must be a very enthusiastic and creative person, excited to further skills and knowledge. Full pastry and bread training given but must already be confident with working in a busy kitchen and using new recipes.  Our key focus is on slow fermentation breads which we sell wholesale and retail from our small bakery shop. Along side this we also use a wide variety of pastry techniques and give staff a lot of freedom for creativity. Our larder section produces weekly changing savouries included sandwiches, soups and smoked meats for our bakery shop.

About The Bear Bakery

A small batch bakery, predominantly focusing on slow fermentation breads whilst also producing laminated pastries and savouries. A busy environment producing wholesale breads for small local businesses and stocking our bakery shop. Aspirations to get a high st premises so we can put food on plates!
