Job description

Urban Growth is a social enterprise which aims to improve the wellbeing of Londoners by creating and maintaining communal gardens. We collaborate with councils, businesses, developers & community groups across London (primarily south of the river), creating and maintaining communal gardens where people can learn about and engage with nature on their doorstep. You can read more about our aims and activities, and see examples of our work on our website, and through the linked social media channels.

We are now looking to grow our friendly and professional team of site freelancers, hiring for skilled people who are excited about working in our small growing team installing and building gardens in both community and private settings.

Ideally candidates will have horticulture or carpentry skills to offer, but a professional, motivated attitude and eagerness to learn are just as valuable. Experience of working with community or volunteer groups is also of benefit.

Work is flexible, can be at sites anywhere across central and south london and there is potential for roles of increased site responsibility for the right candidates.
