Job description

The How Hill Trust is looking for a cook to join the existing catering staff.

Initially you will work a minimum of 15 hours per week during term time: 2.00 pm – 8.00 pm Tuesday and Thursday, and 8.00 am – 11.00 am on Wednesdays. This will fluctuate during the year depending on the needs of the business.

Because we are a small team working at How Hill we do require staff to be flexible and willing to cover for colleagues who are on holiday or off sick. There will also be evening and weekend work.

During term time we cater for residential school groups. All other times we accommodate adult groups, this means your workload will be varied and frequent. Whilst specific catering qualifications are not a necessity, a passion for producing good food is essential. Knowledge of catering for specific dietary requirements would be advantageous.
