About the opportunity

We are seeking a Certification Officer to join our processor team specifically working on our food service schemes; Food for Life Served Here/Green Kitchen Standard/ Organic Served Here.

Your role

You will be handling all aspects of certification for a portfolio of businesses engaged with our food service awards, notably our Food for Life Served Here program. Operating in a diverse range of settings from local pubs to multi-national caterers. The role involves managing the ongoing certification of these accounts as well as account management, so you will need to be able handle a technical understanding of the food industry and standards as well as be able to build and maintain relationships.

Your experience

To be successful in this role you will be educated to degree level or equivalent with experience in the food industry, be an excellent relationship builder, highly organised and have an awareness of the commercial demands on food businesses. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, computer literacy and a confident approach to service delivery and the ability to provide solutions within tight deadlines are essential. We are looking for you to demonstrate an ability to manage your own workload and to show excellent customer service skills on the phone and face to face.
