About our organisation
The Soil Association, formed in 1946, is the only UK charity which works across the spectrum of human health, the environment and animal welfare. That’s because we cannot tackle these issues in isolation.
We campaign for change, we support farming innovation, we serve healthy food in communities, we support and grow the organic market and we protect forests. We couldn't do any of this without our supporters, partners, donors and dedicated staff. We make a difference in the world where it’s needed the most.
About the opportunity
Soil Association Certification Ltd is the UK's leading certification business for organic food products. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Soil Association charity.
We are seeking highly motivated individuals to work on the processor team. These roles will be specifically working within the food sector and will see you working with businesses right across the supply chain from importing, manufacturing, wholesaling, storage, and retail.
The role is focused on managing the organic certification of our clients, reviewing inspection outcomes, product information and labelling, and answering any general queries. A particular focus for 2021 will be supporting our clients through the changes associated with the UK leaving the EU.
This would suit someone with experience in a quality or technical role within the food industry, with excellent organizational and administrative skills, and a strong customer service mindset.
The ability to provide solutions within tight deadlines are essential as is the ability to prioritise your own workload.
Interviews are expected to take place: online, week commencing 5th July 2021
