The Community Chef will engage local people of all ages in cookery and food related programmes that share the joy of learning to prepare home cooked food and address issues including social isolation, health and wellbeing, food waste and cooking on a budget.
The successful candidate will have significant experience of planning, delivering and evaluating cookery activities and events, work with diverse communities, have excellent communication skills, a knowledge of cuisines and culinary styles and an understanding of the principles of healthy eating.

It provides a space for local people of all ages to gather and socialise, and for St Luke’s and other organisations to deliver services and activities to benefit the local community, including lunch club for the over 55s, a community café, an online centre, art & dance studios, after school clubs, a therapy room, a unique cookery school, an employment hub, gardening and a variety of meeting rooms.
