Pesticide Action Network UK
Brighthelm Centre BN1 1YD
Paid Full-time Fixed term / contract
Pesticide Action Network UK (PAN UK) is looking for a passionate person dedicated to campaigning for environmental and social justice to support its small, high-performing UK Policy & Campaigns Team in Brighton. As an organisation, we work to tackle the problems caused by pesticides to the environment and human health, and push for sustainable alternatives in agriculture, urban areas, homes and gardens.
As Assistant Campaigner, you will perform a wide variety of tasks from writing communications materials to organising events and public speaking. As well as providing assistance to the team, you will lead on supporting local campaign groups as part of our successful Pesticide-Free Towns campaign which aims to end urban pesticide use.
The successful candidate must be an excellent communicator with great attention to detail. We are also looking for someone who is both self-motivated and functions well as team.
This is a unique opportunity to gain professional experience in the UK campaigning sector within a small organisation which punches well above its weight.
More information about this role can be found in the Job description and Person Specification on our website at www.pan-uk.org/jobs.
To apply, please send a CV and covering letter explaining how you meet the person specification and what you can bring to the role to Josie Cohen, Head of Policy & Campaigns, at email@example.com by 11pm on Thursday 31st January.
Please mention Roots to Work when applying for these jobs
