Job description

Gringa Dairy makes Mexican-style cheeses from a railway arch in SE London (SE15 1NQ) and we are in need of a part-time order administrator.  This role is approximately 10-12 hours per week at £10.20/hour.  Approximately 30-40% of the role can be done remotely.  This role can also be combined with regular Dairy Assistant shift work - see gringadairy.com/jobs for role details (or send an email to enquire).

Responsibilities:

  • Daily review and processing of orders (email) 
  • Manage master order to production sheet (excel)
  • Assemble (pick & pack) orders for delivery (done on on Monday & Thursday late afternoon/evening)
  • Create (in Xero), send and file invoices
  • Manage stock rotation of cold store
  • Other office duties as required

Approximate Schedule:

  • Daily/Almost Daily (Flexible timing, 5-20 min/day- working remotely)
    • Order monitoring (email)
    • Management of order sheet (excel)
  • Twice weekly (at dairy)
    • Assemble orders for delivery on Monday & Thursday late afternoon/evening 
    • Stock management/organisation
    • Invoicing & filing

Requirements:

  • Confident user of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to frequently monitor cloud-based applications (on your laptop or ours)
  • Able to lift 25 kilos
  • Basic bookkeeping knowledge, some experience with Xero desired
  • Fluent written and spoken English
