Job description

The Prince's Countryside Fund is looking to appoint a proactive and self-motivated Programme Officer for The Prince’s Farm Resilience Programme.

Reporting to the Programme Manager as part of a small team based in London, the post-holder will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of The Prince’s Farm Resilience Programme and Preparing for Transition work, including liaising with farmers and stakeholders, preparing briefings and progress reports, and assisting with communications for The Prince’s Farm Resilience Programme.

The post-holder will also lead on the Fund’s Rural Development Group Scotland, and The Prince’s Farm Resilience Programme alumni network.

About you

The successful candidate will have previous administration experience, with a willingness to undertake a wide variety of tasks. A knowledge of farming and rural affairs is desirable.

Candidates will have excellent organisation and communication skills, with an eye for detail. The ability to liaise with a broad spectrum of people in order to develop good working relationships, together with excellent I.T. skills is essential.
