Job description

Global Generation is a youth environmental charity working to reconnect people with their local community and nature using food growing, storytelling and cooking. We operate from three gardens in London located in Kings Cross, Regent's Place in West Euston and Canada Water. You can see more about the work we do here

We also design, build and plant food and wildife friendly gardens for individual and businesses. Our garden commissions help us raise funds to develop our youth work.

We are currently building a food garden in Regent's Place and we need an extra carpenter to help us build furniture and planters for the site. The work will take place the first two weeks of May. You will work alongside another carpenter. 

We are looking for: 

  • A qualified self-employed carpenter with two years experience who has their own tools
  • Someone with a CSCS card. If you don't have one, we can pay for you to get a card (you will have to pass a test which we will pay for to obtain your card).
  • A person available the first two weeks of May
  • Someone who underatnds and share our values
