Job description
We are looking for an Ecommerce Manager to join our permanent team on a full-time basis, based primarily at our maturing arches in Bermondsey with some remote working. Our Ecommerce Manager will oversee the Ecommerce team whilst collaborating with many teams including Communications, Buying, Finance and Production.
Our Ecommerce Manager is responsible for a wide range of duties including:
Sales Logistics
Managing the Ecommerce team, including rota management, team development and employee growth
Developing and sustaining positive and successful relationships with other internal departments
Liaising with, and providing information to, other internal departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Providing accurate, concise, and timely information regarding sales, stock, and other P&L lines in accordance with company requirements
Providing holiday cover for day-to-day Ecommerce operations, including customer service and logistics
Sales Analysis, Growth & Strategy
Producing, analysing, and continuously revising sales and stock projections
Designing and implementing sales growth strategies in line with resources and budget available
Working closely with communications team and digital marketing agency on campaigns and paid ad strategies
Tracking and communicating sales and user data obtained from Shopify, Google Analytics, Hotjar, Klaviyo and Power BI to track success and inform further avenues for sales growth
Website & Product Management
Developing and coordinating the implementation of new Ecommerce products (eg selections, subscription models etc)
Ensuring products are up to date, produce copy for and add new products
Coordinating and project managing web development, troubleshooting and bug fixes
Writing copy for and arranging communications for subscription products
You will be a strong communicator and able to balance several different tasks and as such should be excellent at managing your time and priorities. You’ll have strong problem-solving skills, a ‘can do’ attitude, and the ability to work under pressure. You will enjoy dealing with people, creating and maintaining relationships, and have a confident manner.
You must have experience manipulating and interpreting data and have strong technical skills (intermediate Excel minimally). You must also have experience in website management, stock management and control of departmental P&L. Experience of basic coding, digital marketing and the food industry would be desirable. Experience of Shopify, Microsoft NAV, Power BI and Google Analytics preferred.
