Job description

We are looking for someone who is both experienced in community organising and passionate about local creativity, food and environmental justice to lead on the coordination of a local food justice group called the ‘blueprint architects’. They will lead on community outreach and organising ‘blueprint architect group’ convenings for the purpose of: 

  1. Enabling mutual support and empowerment within the group, strengthening the local movement for food justice, sustainability and redistribution. 
  2. Surfacing and gathering the group’s collective wisdom on local food justice to inform a community-led research process
  3. Building three ‘Future of Food’ arts installations, backed up by our community-led research on how to build better, more resilient and fair urban food systems.

Hours: 3-4 days (based on a 40 hour week): 24-32 hours per week. We are able to offer flexible working hours (24-32 hours per week) based on the chosen candidate’s availability and preference.

Contract: 2 years, subject to a 6 month probationary period. There will be a possibility of extension, conditional on funding. 

Start date: 17th of April 2023.
