Job description
Keythorpe Hall is looking for a Head Grower to join the team. We grow amazing produce using organic methods in a restored 2 acre Victorian walled garden. We focus on heritage and unusual varieties of fruit and vegetables that our head chef will work with to produce menus for our guests and also selling excess produce to local customers and restaurants. The position is available for a permanent position, and/or the growing season, for an immediate start. Variable hours/shifts which may include weekend working.
The position will report to our Head Gardener, Claudio Bincoletto, who is a trained ethnobotanist and wild food expert, and will require constant communication with our head chef Bent Varming (formerly worked at the London restaurants Lyle’s and St.John and the Dusty Knuckle Bakery) We are passionate about sustainability and are looking to build a great team.
Skills needed
You will require your own reliable transport, as public transport is extremely limited.

Keythorpe Hall is a beautiful country house and gardens near the village of Tugby, on the Leicestershire/ Rutland border. We cater for short stays and offer a gastronomic farm to fork experience. We grow fruit, vegetables and flowers in our 2 acre walled garden and work with local farms and other artisan producers.
