Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a growing organisation at the cutting edge of regenerative food production, urban design and commercial growing.

We are seeking someone with some growing experience, who undestands how plants grow and the life cycle of plants, can identify most fruit and veg and has some basic knoweldge of soil regeneration and agroforestry.

The rest is down to us to teach you!

We are seeking a senior grower, with the intention of them leading on market garden, urban farm and urban design projects where food is grown and wildlife habitats are created.

Essential criteria:

  • Some experience in food production
  • An understanding of no dig, soil health, agroforestry
  • Willingneess to learn
  • Flexibility
  • Own transport

Desirable:

  • Commercial growing experience
  • Design experience
  • Teaching experience

edge is a non profit design agency and educational organisation focused on regenerative food production. Within our team we have designers, landscape architects and educators, all designing spaces for food and running workshops on food growing. We also help design and set up Market Gardens, Incredible Edible groups and Public Realm edible planting plans.
