Job description

SENIOR MARKETING MANAGER

Full-time role, based in our London office.

We're looking for a mission-led senior marketing manager who wants to work creatively towards meaningful change across the food system.

About Natoora

We are a fast-growing company with a clear mission: to revolutionise the food system.

With hubs in London, Paris, Milan, New York, Los Angeles, Melbourne and Copenhagen, we’re creating access to consciously-produced and grown food at a scale unparalleled by anyone else in the industry. Since 2004, we have been building a unique supply chain that connects chefs and home cooks alike to an ever-growing community of independent growers, co-operatives and producers.

From the way food is grown, reared and produced to how it gets into kitchens, we’re breaking down barriers built up by the industrial system and sparking a grassroots movement for a better future of food. This is your chance to be a part of it.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a strategic, forward-thinking Senior Marketing Manager with a strong background in end-to-end campaign management and a proven track record in media buying.

Reporting into our Head of Brand and working with our in-house creative and PR teams in London, you’ll use strategic media buying techniques and leverage retail partnerships to connect our fresh produce and prepared foods range with a growing audience, developing and refining segment specific strategies to drive customer conversion, retention and engagement.

You will also play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to raise brand awareness across our e-commerce platform and brick-and-mortar stores as well as providing marketing support to our regional teams in New York, Paris, Copenhagen and Melbourne.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement a multi-channel, integrated customer acquisition strategy focused on growing our retail partnerships and e-commerce platform.
  • Working closely with the Commercial team, identify opportunities with our retail partners and spearhead retail activation campaigns, collaborating closely with supermarket partners to enhance in-store visibility and customer engagement.
  • Plan, create, and oversee marketing campaigns from inception to execution. This includes defining campaign objectives, budget allocation, target audiences and working with our in-house Creative team on the creation of necessary assets. Monitor and report on campaign performance, using data-driven insights to adjust strategies.
  • Leverage experience in launching new products into supermarkets and other retail partners, ensuring successful market penetration and brand positioning.
  • Negotiate favourable contracts with media partners, publishers, and platforms to secure cost-effective placements and work with third parties to optimise digital advertising campaigns to drive traffic, sales, and ROAS.
  • Collaborate with the Comms & Creative team to create engaging and relevant content that raises brand awareness and meets commercial needs.
  • Engage in the practical aspects of online business operations, including customer interaction, ensuring a seamless and efficient online shopping experience.
  • Ability to analyse large datasets to extract meaningful insights and trends, thereby facilitating informed decision-making and strategic enhancements.
  • Manage the marketing budget for customer acquisition initiatives and campaigns, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Continuously monitor and optimise campaigns for performance, adjusting strategies as needed to meet KPIs.
  • Work alongside the Store Experience Manager to plan and execute integrated marketing activities that bring campaigns to life in Natoora's physical store locations.

ABOUT YOU

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in an in-house Marketing role, with a focus on end-to-end campaign management from creative management to strategic media buying to retail activations.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a track record of securing cost-effective media placements.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital and traditional media channels.
  • Experience successfully launching new products into a supermarket/retail environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills with stakeholder management experience at all levels of the organisation
  • A flexible approach and an ability to drive projects through to completion delivering clearing defined results and impact.
  • A hands-on attitude and a flexible mindset is essential, as you will be required to roll your sleeves up and switch gears when needed.

PERKS

  • Daily lunch made with the same seasonal produce we supply to chefs
  • Natoora produce at a significant discount
  • Your birthday off (once you've hit the 6 month mark)
  • Kitchen stocked from our own growers and producers - including Estate Dairy milk and butter, jam from England Preserves as well as coffee from our Spa Terminus neighbours Monmouth

Our vision for a better food system is built on real human relationships and a diversity of experience, perspective and ideas. We are committed to equality of opportunity and welcome applications from individuals, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, socio-economic background, religion and/or belief.
