Job description

We are seeking a self-motivated, experienced Food Production Assistant with a can-do approach, to join our team and contribute to the creation, and production of our innovative products.

The role will be for 3 days minimum a week from 8.15am-4.15pm

You will work in our kitchen (full training provided), to help create many of the products we produce, including our own line of snacks using wonky ingredients. You will be responsible for using all kitchen equipment (full training provided), while adhering to health and food safety guidelines. Responsibilities include managing deliveries and inventory, assisting in the design and testing of new products, and supporting the overall production process. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Operate kitchen equipment while maintaining health and food safety standards. Full training provided. 
• Manage daily kitchen records and logs (food safety and cleaning records) 
• Start up and Close down of the kitchen including daily cleaning to SALSA standards
• Manage deliveries, inventory and full stock management. 
• Assist and support in the creation products.
