We pride ourselves on our exceptional range of fruits and artisanal products, and we're looking for a passionate and dedicated Market Stall Manager to join lead our team at Borough Market.

Job Description:

As our Market Stall Manager, you will be the face of 13 Acre Orchard at Borough Market. You will manage daily operations, ensuring that our stall runs smoothly and efficiently while providing an outstanding customer experience. This role requires someone who is enthusiastic and knowledgable about fresh produce, has excellent customer service skills, and can handle the dynamic environment of a bustling market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the market stall, including setting up and closing down.
• Provide excellent customer service, engaging with customers, and offering product knowledge and recommendations.
• Manage inventory, ensuring that the stall is well-stocked with fresh produce and products.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the stall, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Train and supervise staff where nessesary.
• Monitor sales and report on performance, providing feedback to management.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or artisanal food is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectivly promote and sell products from the stall
• Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and card transactions.
• A passion for fresh produce and a good knowledge of food ingriedients and preperation.
• Flexibility to work on weekends.
