Job description

Join Mid Sussex Food Partnership (MSFP) and help tackle food security, food poverty, and food waste across the Mid Sussex area. As a part of a passionate team, you'll work closely with local food producers, distributors, and key stakeholders to build partnerships, drive community engagement, and promote sustainable food initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and strengthen connections with local organisations addressing food poverty, food waste, and sustainability.
• Develop and implement a communications strategy to raise awareness of MSFP’s work.
• Arrange and facilitate MSFP's network meetings, events, and peer support initiatives.
• Lead/assist with grant applications, funding, and sustainable delivery models.
• Support the development of a food charter and ensure policies are followed.

Skills Required:

• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to foster collaboration between community and public sectors.
• Innovative thinking and a passion for sustainable food systems.
