Job description

Higher Farm is a natural farm in Somerset on a mission to support the regeneration of our food system. Across our land we grow using forest farming methods, have a table-to-farm restaurant and soon we are launching our own natural food products.

This year we are trying to grow our brand through media. We’re looking for a talented content creator to join our small, dynamic team. Someone who is passionate about our mission, and who loves bringing stories to life through engaging content and social media.  We aim to create a longerform Youtube channel as well as using Instagram, Tiktok and YouTube shorts.

We want to tell the story of our project and of Natures Food Movement, we want to educate and inspire people on how we can improve our food for our health and our environment. There is a huge scope for creativity including cooking, farming, documenting, collaborating with big names and so on.

This role is for you if you:

  • Are passionate about social media and storytelling, producing creative, informative and aesthetic content that sets trends rather than follows them.
  • Confidently create weekly video content both long form and short form: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube, including Shorts and Meta Ads.
  • Have a talent for beautiful film making and efficient editing skills, tailoring content to suit each platform's audience and format.
  • Can schedule content across all platforms and manage our digital communities.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
  • Are self-led and able to manage your own schedule while working towards broader marketing goals and content strategy, overseen by our Marketing Manager.

It’s a bonus if you have:

  • Photography and/or graphic design skills.
  • Experience working with food, farming or nature-focused projects.

Perks:

  • 10% discount at our Farm Caff.
  • F&F rates on our veg boxes, events, farm produce and nature cabins.
  • Opportunities to learn land-based skills like tree planting and harvesting.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Relocation support if required.

Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 depending on experience. Location: Onsite, five days a week, at Higher Farm, Somerset.
