Compensation: £19,801.60 pro rata

Job description
We are looking for a responsible Administrator and Events staff member to work 28 hours per week, helping with the smooth running of our organisation, in particular our events. This job can be hybrid with some homeworking, but there will need to be some working from our office/kitchen space. The candidate will also need to be present at events in other locations.
The role
The job involves providing back-end support to our staff, taking our catering orders, booking deliveries, arranging Front of House staff for events and often being FoH at events coordinating and ensuring the event runs smoothly. In addition, the successful candidate will send the bookkeeper files, keep paperwork up to date and maintain our funding database alongside other general organisational work. For our community work, they will help schedule our classes, carry out surveys and keep track of the sign-ups and mailing lists. Occasionally, they will help out with our community meals.
Access to a vehicle is a plus, it is beneficial for the occasions where we are taking other FoH to events outside of town or taking food to smaller jobs in town. We pay mileage.
The role will also involve doing some work with the kitchen team to ensure the smooth running of the organisation. Ordering cleaning equipment, doing the kitchen laundry, and booking annual servicing for all kitchen equipment.
Requirements and skills
Requirements
Our ideal candidate has experience as an Office Administrator, Secretary or relevant administrative role and has worked in events in some way. The candidate should be highly organised and able to multitask with ease. While we would like to have a rough set working pattern the ability to be flexible and work at other times would be beneficial.
Desirable
Our team
You would be joining a dedicated, friendly, supportive team who works hard but also believes in a healthy work/life balance. Any overtime hours will be replaced with TOIL or paid.
