Job description

Are you excited at the prospect of joining a passionate, dedicated and forward-thinking team working towards genuinely impactful restoration, regeneration and reconnection?

If you are keen to develop as an inspirational educator and have knowledge and enthusiasm for outdoor education and facilitating nature connection, we have an exciting opportunity as Nature Connection Facilitator within our Nature Connection team. 

About Us:

At Belmont, we're committed to leaving a positive impact on the land we steward. We're creating environmental and societal change through the delivery of nature-recovery projects, a nature connection program, natural capital solutions, corporate partnerships and community events across multiple sites in the UK.

As custodians of the land, we believe we can be a facilitator of meaningful change, bringing communities and businesses together to reconnect with nature, their food and each other.

We are looking for someone to support the delivery of our Nature Connection Programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The day-to-day delivery, both on-site and off-site, of the Nature Connection Programme
  • Working with schools, charities, community groups, special interest groups, outside and in all weathers
  • Provide effective support (planning, execution and wrap-up) to the events team
  • To maintain and develop excellent relationships with all external organisations
  • To help market, liaise with and advertise to prospective schools, groups and other organisations
  • To assist with the Nature Connection booking system and co-ordinate the arrangements for all groups
  • To adhere to best practise in risk assessing and safeguarding to enable safe and enjoyable access
  • To reflectively and creatively assist with planning and delivery of the Nature Connection programme
  • Be dynamic and reflective in your practice to continually seek to provide the highest quality delivery possible
  • Using formal and informal constructive feedback to improve and adapt the workshops and activities
  • Keeping records of the impact of the programme – qualitatively and quantitively

Rewards and Benefits: Salary band of £28,000 - £33,000 per annum, plus benefits package
