Job description

Role Description

Community Action for Land Liberation (CALL) is seeking support for its fundraising efforts. We are seeking candidates with 1-2 years of experience in fundraising to support us in identifying and responding to grant opportunities.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated to support grassroots ecological and social work, and interested in continuing their journey with CALL as part of our long-term fundraising efforts. The group has access to a wealth of free educational materials, templates and training courses that the Fundraising Assistant would be able consult to further development. Additionally, there will be members of the group that will provide support in the fundraising process.

The work will be paid by the hour, with the hours worked dependent on the number of appropriate grant opportunities identified by the group and the applicant, and resourcing capacity within the group. The work will likely suit a self-employed or part-time worker. Whilst the contract can be defined with the candidate, we suggest starting with a Casual Contract, which in the long-term could be extended and evolved as needed. Depending on the applicant's experience, the payment will be split between an hourly wage of £14 per hour, plus a payment of between 3% and 5% of the bids won.

To apply, please send your CV and a one-page cover letter explaining your motivation for pursuing this role, explaining how your previous experience reflects the role we are seeking, to communityaction4landliberation@gmail.com.
