Job description

The Role

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated full-time baker to join our small team and help us craft exceptional bread and baked goods. This is a hands-on role that offers the opportunity to work directly with freshly milled flour, and an integrated farm-to-bakery system. You’ll be involved in all aspects of production — from mixing and shaping doughs to managing bakes and contributing to recipe development. There’s also room to grow your skills in milling, fermentation, and seasonal product creation.

About You

  • Previous professional baking experience essential.
  • Strong understanding of fermentation, dough handling, and baking.
  • Reliable, punctual, and happy to work nights and early mornings.
  • Passionate about real bread, sustainability, and locally produced food.
  • Team player with good communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Willing to get involved in a variety of tasks, from baking to grain milling.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary based on experience - adjustable based on accommodation requirements.
  • Opportunity to live and work on a beautiful Suffolk farm.
  • Supportive, small team with a shared passion for good food.
  • Hands-on experience with farm-grown grains and traditional milling.
  • Room to develop your skills and creativity in an inspiring rural setting.
