Paid Full-time Flexible hours
Job description
We are looking for help on our educational smallholding just outside of Shafesbury, Dorset in the Cranborne Chase ANOB. We are passionate about bringing children and young people back on to the land, so are finding as many ways as possible to do this. We have chickens, goats, cows and sheep and we have a market garden which is about half an acre in size. We run various different education programs and the animals and vegetables are the learning resources.
We are looking for someone to come and co run the market garden which is no dig and been in production for 5 years. We sell the produce in our farm shop, the local village shop and a local restaurant. We would be also hoping this person would help us develop the on site farm shop. We have accomodation in the garden in a very cosy static that has 1 double bedroom, fully kitted out kitchen, flushing loo and a wood burner. We are looking for someone to start in February and hours to be discussed.
