Job description
We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Chef to join the team at e5 Bakehouse. This is a hands-on role that mainly involves early prep shifts in our Hackney production kitchen; making sandwiches, salads, breakfasts and completing a full prep list alongside the team. There will be occasional shifts in our service kitchens in Hackney and Poplar locations.
During the summer and autumn months you will have the unique opportunity to work with organic produce grown using regenerative farming methods on our very own farm in Suffolk, which is then delivered directly to the bakehouse every week! E5 Bakehouse is a place that champions sustainability, celebrates diversity, loves feeding the community, advocates for knowledge sharing and inspires craftsmanship. We have two existing sites at London Fields and Poplar. If you are a curious person who shares similar values and has a genuine passion for good food and joyful cooking then this is the job for you.
