Job description
NPT Food Partnership was established in 2023 and is a growing network of people, businesses and organisations working together to make good food more available, affordable and accessible across Neath Port Talbot.
We are seeking to employ a dedicated coordinator to manage and develop the Partnership, and support a broad and inclusive movement to make Neath Port Talbot become a vibrant hub for sustainable, local food, with a healthy and more equitable food system that works well for people and the planet.

The Partnership is hosted and facilitated by 4theRegion CIC, a social enterprise, but its activities and development are overseen by a Steering Group with representatives from different sectors and stakeholders within the Partnership.
eetings of the Steering Group and the wider Partnership take place on a regular basis and from time-to-time task groups are also established to take forward specific projects and actions.
NPT Food Partnership is one of the local food partnerships that have been established in every county across Wales receiving grant funding from Welsh Government. It is supported by Food Sense Wales and is a member of the UK-wide Sustainable Food Places network.We want to recruit a highly motivated, organised person who is passionate about good food – not only its provenance and quality, but its benefits to our local economy and the health of everyone in Neath Port Talbot.
We are looking for a Coordinator to continue developing this Partnership and its projects, from the beginning of February 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. This position is part time and the successful applicant will be contracted to work 3 days a week (21hrs). The contract will initially be for one year but may continue subject to securing future funding. Some flexibility will be required for this role as the days and hours worked by the Coordinator may vary from week to week, and occasional weekend and evening work will also be necessary.
