Job description
The Queen of Greens Project Manager will join our existing team to support the management and development of the mobile greengrocer service and ensure that the needs of our community-based customers are met in a welcoming, safe, and respectful manner.
Our mobile greengrocer service has grown over the past three years from 17 to 33 regular stops each week, and we are thrilled to be able to bring a new employee to join the team and help us organise our existing service, with a view to future expansion.
This new position will work closely with our partners to bring the essential resources of fresh fruit and vegetables into the community.
Responsibilities include tracking and planning the deliveries; oversight of expenditure on inventory, including placing orders and collating invoices and income via our accounting process; coordinating the routes, and working with our drivers to ensure timely attendances; building relationships with our partners and customers; recording data for funders; and reporting to the board of directors.
Hours: 30 hours a week (time can be negotiated according to circumstances)
Salary and benefits: £34,125 pro rata (£27,300). General leave, and paid holidays. Employer pension contributions. Training and wellbeing budget.
