Job description

We’re looking for someone local to join our flower team- helping us with growing and harvesting our flowers. This is a production job - not an artistic one!

This role will require being on farm Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays working under our Flower Lead. 

Growing high quality cut flowers is physically demanding and certain tasks require a rigorous pace and working to deadlines particularly on hot days. Work will involve lots of heavy lifting.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: 

• -Harvesting, labelling and taking all flowers to walk in fridge every morning
• -Maintenance of the flower field and polytunnel crops- planting, weeding, staking, checking irrigation etc
• -Winter Maintenance, cutting back  and participating in large jobs such as tulip planting
• -Harvesting, drying and storing dried flowers

Good attention to detail, communication and organisational skills are essential as well as the ability to work well independently or with team.
