🌿 Wild IS Earth (WISE) — Bar Role Opportunity

Kentish Town | Fermentation-led | Woman-led

Wild IS Earth (WISE) is looking for a bar person to join the team as the space reopens in January.

This role is to step in alongside an existing bartender, coordinating shifts, sharing ideas, and helping shape the bar as the space grows. WISE is a small, evolving venue — ideal for someone who is creative, grounded, reliable and genuinely enjoys contributing to a living project rather than a fixed system.

This is an intimate space where intention, care, cleanliness, flavour and atmosphere truly matter.

About Wild IS Earth

Wild IS Earth is a kombucha microbrewery and fermentation-, fungi- and creativity-led space in Kentish Town, North London.

The bar focuses on:

  • Kombucha on tap & kombucha cocktails
  • Low-intervention wines & simple beers
  • Seasonal, plant-forward European food

A Britalian North London identity, rooted in intention and community

The space has deep roots — it was originally a family-run Italian patisserie for 36 years, now reimagined as a slower, more sustainable and community-led venue.

The Role

You’ll begin by learning the existing menu and systems, sharing and replacing shifts with the current bartender. Over time, you’ll be encouraged to bring your own rhythm, ideas and presence into the space.

You’ll often be running the bar solo, so confidence, calmness and good organisation are essential.

This role suits someone who enjoys ritual, prep and flow, not just service.

Looking For

Someone who is:

  • Clean, organised and detail-oriented
  • Confident running a bar alone
  • Warm, grounded and good with people
  • Curious about fermentation, flavour and sustainability
  • Happy to contribute ideas and grow with the space
  • Experience with cocktails, fermentation, foraging or herbs is a bonus — attitude, care and reliability matter most.

Pay & Structure

  • £13 per hour
  • Casual / event-based shifts to start
  • Shifts planned monthly
  • First shift unpaid (shadowing the current bartender)
  • Potential for more regular work as WISE grows into spring / summer
