Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for local produce and a knack for driving modern retail growth? We are seeking a versatile Farm Shop Manager to spearhead our daily operations, from the traditional butchery counter to our expanding online presence.

The Role

As Farm Shop Manager, you will be the face of the business, ensuring a world-class experience for our local community while professionally managing our trade and digital channels. You will lead a dedicated team to maintain the highest standards of food safety, product presentation, and commercial success.  

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Manage the day-to-day running of the shop, including staff rotas, stock control, and health and safety compliance.
• Butchery & Fresh Food: Oversee the butchery department, ensuring expert meat preparation, quality control, and enthusiastic customer service at the counter.
• Trade Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for trade customers, managing orders, invoices, and long-term business relationships.
• Digital Growth: Drive online sales and marketing, managing our e-commerce platform and using social media to engage our audience.
• Administration: Use Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) for financial recording, budgeting, and internal reporting.

About You

• Customer-Focused: You have a warm, welcoming nature and thrive in a busy, customer-facing environment.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable managing online sales systems and digital marketing tools.
• Skilled & Knowledgeable: Previous experience in a retail butchery or high-end food environment is highly desirable.
• Commercial Mindset: Ability to analyze sales data to drive growth and manage trade account performance.
