Job description
Help shape a vibrant, inclusive space where food, community, and social impact come together.
Brixton People’s Kitchen is looking for a passionate and organised Café Hub Manager to lead our exciting new Community Café in Lambeth Walk. More than just a café, this space will serve as a welcoming hub for local residents—offering affordable, nourishing meals, community-led events, and a space where people can connect and thrive.
As Café Hub Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the café, lead a small team, and ensure we deliver a high-quality, friendly service that reflects our values. A key part of your role will be to coordinate our newest weekly community meal, powered by volunteer chefs and cooks, celebrating food from the diaspora and creating space for intergenerational connection.
You don’t have to be a chef, but you’ll need a strong understanding of food, hospitality, and managing a small, dedicated team. You’ll be someone who thrives on taking initiative, is highly organised, and believes in the power of food to bring people together.
We’re looking for someone who:
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a leading role in a project with real social impact, backed by a trusted community organisation with deep roots in Lambeth.
Apply now to be part of something meaningful - serving good food and building a stronger, more connected community.
