Job description

Come and cook with us!

We are looking for an energetic cook to join our kitchen team! This is a perfect opportunity for someone who is interested in cooking with beautiful produce surrounded by people passionate about their work. The role will be working across 2 locations in Hackney (E8) and Poplar (E14). 

During the summer and autumn months you will have the unique opportunity to work with organic produce grown using regenerative farming methods on our very own farm in Suffolk, which is then delivered directly to the bakehouse every week! While we value excellence in what we produce we also hold sustainability, inclusivity and diversity at the centre of what we do. If you are a curious person who shares similar values and has a genuine passion for good food and joyful cooking then this is the job for you.

A hearty lunch and drinks will be provided on shift and staff discounts in our shop are just some of the perks of the job!

We ask for a minimum of 1-2 years experience in a commercial kitchen setting. The role is full-time equivalent work 36 hours across 4 day per week. (weekend and evening availability is a must!) 

£13.85ph + TRONC (tips)

Using organic, locally-sourced ingredients, we serve delicious, daily-baked breads, fresh lunches, homemade cakes and coffee. Our head bakers also share their knowledge and expertise in a weekly bread course.
