About the Farm Carbon Toolkit The Farm Carbon Toolkit (FCT) is a leading, independent farmer-led enterprise. Overview of this Role The Finance Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with financial processes. You will oversee day-to-day forecasting, supporting and managing budgets, managing our financial accounting systems and ensuring our financial policies are well-designed and adhered to. In an organisation with both commercial and grant-aided income, you will assist with the submission of tenders, quotes and grant claims, as well as overseeing expenses management for our dynamic team.
You will maintain a professional environment for our financial management systems and processes. You will develop trusting relationships across the organisation to support financial understanding, awareness and effective delivery. In this role, you will report regularly to the senior leadership team, and participate in the director’s finance working group, to ensure transparency and support accountability for budgets and forecasts.

Salary: £40,000 FTE (actual: £24,000 for 3 days per week) Hours: 3 days per week (22.5 hours)
