About the role
WWOOF UK is looking for a highly organised and proactive HR & Organisational Administrator to support the smooth running of our small, values-driven Charity organisation.
This is a varied and impactful role at the heart of our operations. You’ll lead on HR processes, organisational compliance, and key administrative systems, while supporting meetings, managing records, and acting as a key contact for member complaints and immigration-related matters.

Key responsibilities
Human Resources
Maintain and update HR policies, ensuring compliance with current legislation
Manage HR administration including contracts, records, leave, and induction processes
Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff development
Provide guidance on grievance and disciplinary processes
Act as safeguarding lead
Organisational Administration
Maintain organisational systems (Google Workspace, records, GDPR compliance)
Ensure accurate record-keeping of decisions and policies
Support insurance renewals and regulatory filings
Oversee document and asset management
Meetings & Governance
Coordinate and support meetings (staff, trustees, council, AGM)
Prepare agendas, take minutes, and distribute documentation
Contribute to staff reports and AGM summaries
Complaints & Immigration
Act as first point of contact for member complaints
Manage and monitor complaints and safeguarding concerns
Track and report immigration-related issues
Ensure policies and guidance remain accurate and up to date
About you
We’re looking for someone who brings:
Experience in HR and organisational administration (ideally in the charity sector)
Strong knowledge of HR processes and UK employment legislation
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Confidence using digital tools (Google Workspace, spreadsheets, document systems)
Experience handling sensitive issues with empathy and professionalism
Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
Desirable
Experience with or understanding of WWOOF (as a volunteer or host)
Passion for sustainable agriculture, community, and cultural exchange
Working pattern & benefits
