Job description

Are you interested in joining a fun, hard-working team in a non-profit organisation? Be part of a busy cookery school offering classes for a huge range of people at our Community Kitchen.

We are recruiting for an Engagement Officer for the Community Kitchen.

This role includes administrative and reception tasks, involvement in hands on operations in the Community Kitchen and marketing and communications. From chef masterclasses to heartwarming community courses and a fair few loads of laundry in between, this is a great opportunity to get varied work experience in a community organisation.

You will need to have strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail and a flexible and self-motivated approach. Experience of hospitality in a front facing role is essential as is a customer-facing role either in person and on the phone.

The post holder will be committed to the work of the Food Partnership and will be supported with regular supervision and training.
