Make great food. Change lives.

Are you an experienced café professional who wants their work to really matter?

Join Unity Works, part of the Thera Group, and help create employment opportunities for people with a learning disability in one of our vibrant Social Enterprise Cafés.

Only 4% of adults with a learning disability are employed, but we believe everyone can work and deserve the confidence, independence, and pride that meaningful employment brings. Our cafés dont just serve great food; they fund training, build skills, and launch careers.

As Catering Supervisor, you will:

  • Support and train people with a learning disability in a real café environment
  • Deliver fantastic customer service and high quality food
  • Lead by example across food prep, baking, barista work, and front of house
  • Be part of a passionate, supportive team with a business-meets-mission mindset

You will be a great fit if you:

  • Have hands-on café experience (cooking, baking & front of house)
  • Are confident with barista skills
  • Love providing excellent customer service
  • Thrive in a team environment
  • Are highly person-centred with a positive, inclusive attitude

What you will get:

  • A rewarding role with real social impact
  • A supportive organisation with strong values
  • Training, development, and progression opportunities
  • A workplace that truly values diversity and inclusion

If you are passionate about food, people, and purpose - We would love to hear from you.

Thera is an equal opportunities employer that promotes diversity within our workforce and welcomes applications from all sections of the community, regardless of sexual orientation, race, age, gender, disability, religion or belief.
