Hours: Every Saturday, 9am–2pm

About Husk & Honey Granola

Husk & Honey is a small, hands-on, independent granola bakery based under the railway arches in Bermondsey, London, in the Spa Terminus community. We're a tight-knit team of four, and everything we make is baked in-house, by hand, from scratch.

We bake some of the best granola you'll ever taste; a core range of beloved bestselling flavours alongside a monthly rotation of limited editions inspired by seasonal ingredients, rare pairings and a genuine love of pushing what granola can be. Currently, we're baking a Coconut & Hibiscus Petal granola, an Amelie Mango granola, a Battenberg Cake-inspired granola, and a Matcha & Goji Berry granola. We also make a range of porridges and cereals, all crafted with the same care and attention.

We deliver all over the country direct from our Bermondsey HQ, meaning our granola finds its way onto breakfast tables from Cornwall to the Scottish Highlands, and the one thing that really keeps us smiling is the loyal community who come back to us week after week.

Role Overview

This is a customer-facing role for someone who loves artisan food and has a natural warmth with people. You'll be running the shop independently every Saturday - welcoming customers (many of whom are familiar faces), keeping the shelves stocked and the shop looking its best, and carrying out weekly restocking, packing and processing tasks during quieter moments.

You won't just be selling granola, you'll be representing something made with real hands and a lot of heart.

Key Responsibilities

• Open and run the shop independently each Saturday 9-2
• Provide warm, genuine customer service and 'sales advise' to regulars and new visitors alike
• Restock shelves and maintain a tidy, well-presented shop floor environment
• Handle card payments accurately
• Carry out weekly packing and processing tasks during downtime (and be able to independently identify them)
• Uphold our standards of quality and presentation at all times

Person Specification

Essential

• Warm, confident and personable — someone who genuinely enjoys talking to people
• Previous retail or customer-facing experience
• Reliable, punctual and happy working independently (the baker will also be onsite baking)
• Passionate about artisan and handmade food
• Local to Bermondsey / South East London

Desirable

• Knowledge of or interest in the artisan food scene
• Experience in a food retail or speciality food environment
