Job description

Companio Bakery – Manchester Full Time | 42 Hours per Week

Companio is an independent artisan bakery specialising in naturally fermented sourdough bread, viennoiserie and pastries. We are looking for an experienced baker to join our bread team.

The Role

You will be involved in all aspects of bread production, including:

  • Mixing and dough development
  • Fermentation management
  • Dividing and shaping sourdough breads
  • Oven work and baking
  • Maintaining high standards of quality and consistency
  • Working closely with the wider bakery team

About You

  • Previous bakery experience preferred
  • Experience with artisan bread and sourdough production is advantageous
  • Reliable, organised and punctual
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented approach

What We Offer

  • £27,800+ depending on experience
  • 42-hour contract, 5 days per week
