About Us
We are a small, regenerative, organic farm less than a mile from Stroud. We’re passionate about producing delicious food and doing it all whilst enjoying what we do and who we’re with.
The farm is made up of several ‘producing’ enterprises: a market garden, a Pasture for Life beef herd, laying hens and broilers, agroforestry, and an organic nursery.
The trading enterprise works collaboratively across all of the producing enterprises and is responsible for packing and selling our incredible produce, as well as being the face of the farm at weekly markets.
Role Overview
Trading Assistant is a varied and exciting role, encompassing all aspects of organising, packing, delivering and selling our delicious farm produce. Working alongside Lucy, our Trading Lead, you will follow a structured weekly schedule where no two days are the same. Every week the produce and orders that arrive at Trading’s door are different, and balancing the incoming and outgoing produce makes Trading one of the most dynamic parts of the farm.
Your core responsibility will be managing seasonal stock from our various farm enterprises and readying it for our four primary sales channels: the farm shop, farmers markets, wholesale, and online veg boxes.
