Job description

Location: 12 Blackhorse Ln, E17 6HJ

Hours: Part time (15hrs/week)

Shifts: Every 2nd Monday, Thursdays & Fridays

Hourly rate: £13.15/h

Start date: 23/07

We’re looking for a friendly, hands-on Shop Assistant to join our Blackhorse Rd shop team. You’ll help keep the shop running smoothly—serving customers, restocking shelves, and sharing the stories behind the amazing food and drink we sell. It’s a varied role that’s perfect for someone who loves good food and connecting with people and the local community.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Welcoming and helping customers on the shop floor

• Replenishing stock and keeping displays looking great

• Handling deliveries and organising stock

• Sharing knowledge about our products, producers and seasonal favourites  

What We’re Looking For

• Friendly and proactive with great people skills

• A genuine interest in food, sustainability and community

• Reliable, organised and happy to muck in

• Retail, food or hospitality experience is a bonus, but not essential

• Someone looking to work for at least 6 months
