About Rye Bakery Ltd

RYE is a bakery, cafe, pizzeria and wine bar in Frome, Somerset, across two locations in town. The cafe sits inside a converted church on Whittox Lane, open for brunches, lunches and after-school pick-me-ups. We serve simple food made with seasonal, quality produce from farmers who share our values, with vegan and vegetarian options always available. There's a play area for kids and a Rest Nest for quieter moments. At Station Approach you'll find the bakery, pizzeria and wine bar. The bakery produces sourdough breads and handmade pastries using locally sourced seasonal ingredients, with our bakers milling their own flour from organic grains from trusted local suppliers. The pizzeria grew out of casual pizza nights in the car park and now has a proper wood-fired oven. Next door, the wine bar opened in 2024 with a strong focus on respectful farming and long-term relationships with producers, alongside local beers, live music and regular events. Both sites open Tuesday to Sunday.
