About Belmont

We are a regenerative organisation bringing together people, places and projects to create environmental and societal change through nature recovery, climate action and community connection.

At Belmont we are rewilding and rewetting landscapes, restoring peatlands, replanting native woodlands and rejuvenating rivers. Through organic farming and our award-winning nature connection programme, we are connecting people to nature, food and one another to inspire everyone to become part of this movement for change.

  • Ability to seasonally plan and produce organically grown fruit and vegetables in the walled garden and orchards with produce to be used at events and in-house.
  • General gardening and lawn maintenance including mowing, mulching, composting, strimming, hedge-cutting, pruning and weeding to a high presentation.
  • Greenhouse propagation, scheduling sowing, transplanting and harvesting regimes.
  • Ability to maintain flower borders, wildflower areas and planters and to cultivate beds for cutting garden flowers for in-house use.
  • Safe use and maintenance of garden tools and machinery.
  • Good communication skills, with confidence engaging with visitors and guests and experience working closely with private owners.
  • Physically resilient and energetic with stamina to thrive in a demanding outdoor role and in all weathers.
  • Punctual dependable, self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong sense of attention to detail.
