Job description
About BIOVIT
BIOVIT is the natural vitamin and mineral ingredients company on a mission to improve the health of people and the planet through the use of natural vitamins and minerals. Our ingredients are all derived from organically grown plants, fungi, and algae, and we work with brands of all sizes to bring natural nutrition into their products.
Backed by UK Government support and working alongside world-class technical partners (including RSSL, Campden BRI, and Eurofins), we are building the evidence base for natural nutrition while delivering real commercial impact for our customers.
As we grow, we need an organised, unflappable Operations, Quality & Supply Chain Manager to be the backbone of the business — someone who loves being on top of things, thrives on process and admin, and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Back Office
Run the day-to-day operations of the business, keeping things organised and on schedule across every team.
Own general back-office admin — contracts, correspondence, scheduling, filing, and internal systems.
Build and improve internal processes as we scale, so nothing gets missed or duplicated.
Support the founder and leadership team with day-to-day operational and administrative needs.
Quality
Manage and maintain quality documentation — specifications, CoAs, MSDS, and TDS.
Ensure full compliance with supplier, customer, and traceability standards.
Respond to and understand quality control requests from customers and partners.
Liaise with regulatory and technical partners (including RSSL, Campden BRI, and Eurofins) as needed.
Supply Chain
Coordinate raw material and finished product ordering, including with co-manufacturing site.
Manage relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners.
Monitor stock levels, lead times, and delivery schedules to keep production and orders on track.
Troubleshoot supply chain issues quickly and calmly as they arise.
Requirements
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and genuinely energised by admin and process — not just tolerant of it.
Experience in an operations, supply chain, or quality role, ideally within food, drink, supplements, or FMCG.
Comfortable managing multiple workstreams and competing priorities at once.
Confident working with documentation, certification bodies, and regulatory frameworks.
A proactive problem-solver who takes ownership rather than waiting to be told.
Energy and motivation to be part of, and help build, a growing business.
Ideal, but not essential
Experience with quality assurance/quality control in a regulated industry.
Background working with natural, functional ingredients.
Experience working in or supporting a small, scaling business.
Why Join BIOVIT?
Be part of an ambitious, purpose-driven start-up at the forefront of natural nutrition.
The opportunity to grow with the business, and shape how it runs, as we scale.
Training & development support.
25 days annual leave + bank holidays + birthday off.
Mostly remote working, with occasional requirement to attend in-person meetings and events in London and elsewhere.
Benefits:
Casual dress
Company events
Company pension
Flexitime
Sick pay
Work from home
Work Location: Remote, London or Sussex preferred
