Job description
At Newquay Orchard, we believe young people learn best through real experiences, trusted relationships and opportunities to contribute to their community. We are looking for a passionate and organised Work Experience and Employability Officer to lead our Work Experience Programme of Study for young people aged 16-25, most of whom have SEND and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
You'll act as programme tutor for this group, supporting learners from recruitment and induction through to work placements, EHCP reviews, achievement and progression. You'll develop strong partnerships with employers, coordinate meaningful placements and help young people build confidence, independence, workplace skills and positive destinations.
