Job description

We're looking for a new baker to join us, for immediate start!

You'll work alongside our Head Baker (Kat), who'll train you in baking granola and other cereals with real care and attention to detail. She isn't leaving, but would eventually work different days from you once all trained. This is a hands-on, hard-working role in a small team where everyone pulls together — and for the right person, there's real scope for the role to grow.

Typical Hours

  • Wednesday: 10–5 (1 hour unpaid break)
  • Another Weekday 10-5 (1 hour unpaid break)
  • Saturday: 9–2 (no break)

Key Responsibilities

  • Bake granola and other cereals according to recipes and release criteria
  • Package products to specification
  • Clean and wash up
  • Adhere to hygiene standards and ingredient stock 

Essential

  • 3+ years' experience in commercial kitchen environments
  • Responsible and reliable to manage the production
  • Flexible and hard-working, able to work independently
  • Works well and communicates within a small team (3)
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Strong attention to quality and detail
  • Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene

What We Offer

  • £13.65 per hour, following successful completion of a 2-month probation period at £13.20/hour

Our team of 4 does everything in-house by hand, from baking beloved core flavours, to limited editions like Coconut & Hibiscus Petal Granola, to processing, packing, marketing & dispatch. We also make porridges and cereals. Our produce is enjoyed nationwide for both retail and wholesale, and our what really keeps us smiling is the loyal community who come back to us week after week.
