About our organisation

The Soil Association, formed in 1946, is the only UK charity which works across the spectrum of human health, the environment and animal welfare. That’s because we cannot tackle these issues in isolation.

We campaign for change, we support farming innovation, we serve healthy food in communities, we support and grow the organic market and we protect forests.

We couldn't do any of this without our supporters, partners, donors and dedicated staff. We make a difference in the world where it’s needed the most.

About the opportunity

An increase in the number of certified clients means we are looking for an additional Administrator to join our busy, friendly Administration Team based in Bristol.  We provide a varied range of administrative tasks to support the Soil Association’s Forest Certification Schemes.  The Forestry Team are a group of around 40 people in total, all dedicated to promoting sustainable forest management practices and the responsible use of wood and timber products.

About you

We are looking for the following key skills:

  • A supportive approach to administration tasks.
  • A positive approach to problem solving.
  • An ability to process complex Excel reports.
  • Accurate database entry and reporting experience.
  • An excellent customer service approach – both on the phone and via emails.
  • We have a worldwide client base, so some competency in a second language could be useful.

Important dates

Interviews are expected to take place: 10th and 11th December 2020
